Cast and hand assembled yellow gold opal brooch with a safety chain and pin. The brooch measures 42mm x 8.5mm and is comprised of two 40mm hollow tubed joined at the centre by a multi claw mount set with an 8mm x 6mm medium dome cabochon of semi crystal opal which shows strong blue/green colours. The brooch tests 9ct and weigh 2.6gms.
