This fabulous antique Victorian Amethyst and Citrine heart brooch is Circa 1900.
The wonderful floral brooch is set with two natural Amethyst hearts and two Citrine hearts which are 3ct each in size.
Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them. The stone is sometimes known as "Gold Topaz" and is the birthstone for November.
The brooch is beautifully engraved in a lovely romantic Silver gallery with Silver flowers crowned with Green Peridots decorating the piece.
The Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty and was believed to be a stone of springtime by ancients who considered it a gift from Mother Nature.
The brooch is set in Silver and complete with Pin and secure safety catch.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history. A lovely romantic piece that looks stunning when worn.
