This impressive Antique Victorian Scottish brooch has been crafted in Silver and depicts a crown atop a shield. The edges of the brooch feature detailed engravings and the crown features an intricate design engraved across its front. The brooch is set with a large central Smoky Quartz, which is then surrounded Amethysts, Garnets and Citrines, each of which weighs approx. 0.80ct.

The Smoky Quartz derives its name from its mystical charcoal brown colouring. The stone is the national gem of Scotland and has adorned Scottish clothing and jewellery throughout history.

A beautiful brooch which is steeped in history. It comes with a secure clasp and also a ring so that it may be worn as a pendant.
